7:45 – Meeting in the lobby of the Sheraton hotel to then take the subway together to Glendon College.
8:30-9:00 – Breakfast
9:00 – Welcome address, Dr. Roberto Perin
9:45-12:30 – Discussion of two papers in each of the five groups of five
12:30-2:00 – Lunch
2:00-3:30 – Public lecture
4:00-6:00 – Roundtable discussion
6:00-6:30 – Public reception provided by the Principal of Glendon College
7:00-9:30 – Private dinner for event participants (on campus)

October 20 – Day 2 of the event

9:30-10:00 – Breakfast
10:00 – 12:30 – Discussion of two papers in each of the five groups of five
12:30-1:30 – Lunch
2:30-3:45 – Discussion of one paper in each of the five groups of five
3:45-4:15 – Discussion of plans for publication (led by Alexander Freund and Benjamin Bryce)
4:30-6:00 – Concluding forum: research outcomes and the use of borderlands and transnationalism for immigration history – Moderator: Kornel Chang
7:00-10:00 – Concluding dinner (off campus)
