Getting Here

The workshop will take place at Glendon College, York University. 2275 Bayview Avenue in Toronto

Public transit

The nearest subway station is Lawrence Station (on the Yonge line). From there, take either the 124 Sunnybrook Hospital bus of the 162 Don Mills bus. The campus is located at the intersection of Bayview and Lawrence Avenues, only minutes away. The bus stops right in front of the campus at a stop named “306 Lawrence Avenue East“. Visit the TTC website for transit maps and schedules. From the bus stop, walk approximately 5 minutes from the bus stop to the Glendon Manor.

By car

The campus is 15 minutes south of Highway 401, 15 minutes west of the Don Valley Parkway, 20 minutes north of the Lakeshore, and 25 minutes east of Pearson International Airport.

From Highway 401, exit at Bayview Avenue and go southbound to Lawrence Avenue. Take the ramp on the right then turn left at the stop sign. Drive east on Lawrence straight onto the campus.

From the QEW, take the Don Valley Parkway to Bayview Avenue. Go northbound to Lawrence Avenue then take the ramp on the right. The campus will be on your right, at the stop sign.

Getting from the Airport to the Sheraton Centre Hotel

The cheapest way to get from the airport to the hotel is by public transit. The trip will take approximately 60 minutes. You will require $3 CAD to pay for the bus, and no change is provided.

At Pearson Airport, take bus 192 (Airport Rocket) from outside the building. The bus departs every 10 minutes. Take it to the the end of the route to Kipling station, which is approximately 20 minutes in normal traffic. The bus will leave you inside the subway station, so you do not need a transfer ticket. From Kipling, take the subway to Osgoode station, changing lines once at St. George (the change at St. George is simple. It requires you to go up a single flight of stairs).To visualize the route, click here. Kipling is in the far west and Osgoode is in the southern and central part of the city. At Osgoode station, come up to street level and you will see the Sheraton Centre (123 Queen St. West).

A taxi will take approximately 40 minutes, and it costs $50-60.

There is also a private bus that departs every 30 minutes and that will take you directly to the hotel. It costs approximately $20.
